About Us...

We are located 12km from the historic walled town of Châteaubriant, the last stronghold of the ancient duchy of Brittany in its wars with the kingdom of  France. The town has several restaurants, supermarkets, a lively weekly market each Wednesday, theatre, cinema, bowling, the Aquachoisel indoor swimming centre, lakes, parks, racecourse and of course the Chateau from which it gets its name.

Each year Chateaubriant holds the famous Foire de Béré - a fun day out for all the family, founded in 1050 it is the oldest fair of its kind in the whole of France. The Foire takes place on the second weekend of September each year.

Nantes, an ancient port city on the Loire River, home to the Château des Ducs de Bretagne and the famous mechanical elephant.
Rennes, the capital city of Brittany, known for its medieval half-timbered houses and Cathedral. Parc du Thabor includes a rose garden and aviary.
Angers, on the Maine river, the medieval seat of the Plantagenet dynasty, it has an old town with half-timbered houses, the Cathédrale St-Maurice, and the castle is a must-see!
