Everyone has been affected in some way by the global pandemic that struck in the early part of 2020, whether we or our loved ones have suffered from the disease, seen our incomes affected, or struggled emotionally from being in 'lock-down'.
The first part of this year has been a time that none of us wish to return to. France is starting to get back to a way of life that we all missed enormously, restaurants and bars are re-opening, with safety measures in place and French guests are returning to holiday accommodation. We are looking forward to welcoming guests from outside of France as soon as possible

PUBLIC SWIMMING POOLS: There are several public swimming pools in the vicinity, St Mars la Jaille has an out-door pool, Derval and Châteaubriant have modern facilities. Many French public pools will not allow men to wear swimming shorts, your trunks must be of the tight-fitting speedo-style. Please be aware that this rule is strictly enforced in most public pools, and if you go into the pool area wearing shorts you may well be asked to leave....and will probably not be given a refund of your entry fee.
