Driving in France can be a little daunting at first, but with much less traffic and fewer hold-ups than British roads, you will be pleasantly surprised when you first experience driving in France and you will soon find that being "on the wrong side of the road" becomes almost second nature.
The rules of driving in France are different to those in the UK. There is a guide to French road signs here: https://www.drive-france.com/faqs/french-road-signs/
